InLight Flagship Projects

NGO Development Programme (NDP)

The NDP supports community education NGO’s by providing:

1. Salary stipends to education NGO staff

2. Stationery, textbooks & equipment

Leaders of Light Programme (LL)

This project provides study opportunities for teachers who are currently teaching in madrassahs and education NGOs. InLight provides:

1. Transport costs

2. Course fees

Feeding Hearts (FH) – Daily meals for learners

Feeding Hearts provides much needed daily meals for our education NGO’s

1. Our immediate target is daily feeding to 6 madrassahs totalling 250 learners

2. Feed a madrassah for one day a month at R250 or a week a month at R1000

Training and Capacity Development

InLight provides a number of capacity development programmes including:

1. Organisational management programmes

2. Skills development for educators

3. Personal development programmes
