InLight Flagship Projects

NGO Development Programme (NDP)

The NDP supports community education NGO’s by providing:

1. Salary stipends to education NGO staff

2. Stationery, textbooks & equipment

Leaders of Light Programme (LL)

This project provides study opportunities for teachers who are currently teaching in madrassahs and education NGOs. InLight provides:

1. Transport costs

2. Course fees

3. Monthly stipend

InLight Community Relief Fund (ICRF)

The ICRF project provides emergency relief funding to families in need.

1. Religious & community leaders identify families in need

2. InLight completes the application process with the recipients and pays R500 stipend directly

Training and Capacity Development

InLight provides a number of capacity development programmes including:

1. Organisational management programmes

2. Skills development for educators

3. Personal development programmes
